Dear Colleagues,

I am thankful to the members for bestowing the honors and distinction by electing me the President of the Indian Academy of Oral Medicine and Radiology. It is your greatness and nobility that you have confidence in my capabilities. I take pride in conveying my thankfulness to the past Presidents and Office Bearers for their effort and endeavor in working hard to make immense progress and development in the specialty.

We have a long-standing tradition of excellence. As we embark on this new journey, I would like to emphasize the importance of our collective mission to promote clinical practice among upcoming oral physicians. We must strive to bridge the gap and think of our social duty to empower communities with knowledge and provide care.

My Mission
• Education and Awareness: To invest in educational enrichment by addressing newer topics.
• Women's Oral Health: This has been my prime motto, working for the socially deprived and often neglected oral health of people.
• Innovation and Research: Giving priority to innovative projects, motivating and supporting budding oral physicians to explore new avenues for research and bridge the gap.
• Mass Media Awareness Programs: To increase awareness among the general public, becoming increasingly popular among masses.
• Collaboration: Engaging in activities and programs with leading societies and exchanging ideas for the betterment of the Academy.
• Membership Drive: To increase IAOMR membership, allowing for better collaboration and success.

I am a firm believer in the fact that alone one can do very little, but together we can do a lot. Therefore, I call upon all the members to come together and proactively contribute to the pursuit of goals, elevating IAOMR to an international level.

Greetings to all the members of Indian Academy of Oral Medicine and Radiology. With the commencement of my term as the President of the Indian Academy of Oral Medicine and Radiology (IAOMR), let me thank all the members of IAOMR for your confidence in me and electing me as the President of IAOMR. I understand that I have been given a highly responsible post and I hope, I will perform my duties to your expectations.

This academy is the single largest body of Oral Medicine, and Oral and Maxillofacial lmageology specialists in the entire world. As the number of members increase, the expectations too increase from the academy. In order to achieve these expectations, I request the fullest co-operation of all IAOMR members to take the academy forward.

I believe the academy is a reflection of the research and developments in the fields of Oral Medicine, Oral Diagnosis, Oral and Maxillofacial Imaging, and Forensic Odontology in India. We as a team should work together and achieve greater heights in the field of Oral Medicine, Oral and Maxillofacia l lmageology, Forensic Odontology and the other allied sciences.
