Greetings on behalf of the Indian Academy of Oral Medicine and Radiology (IAOMR). I welcome you to the official website of IAOMR.

As I step into the role of President of IAOMR for the year 2024-25, I am filled with both pride and a profound sense of responsibility. I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude for the trust IAOMR members have placed in me, and the support extended to me since the day I started serving this Academy as an EC member way back in 2005. It is indeed an honor and privilege to represent the specialists of oral medicine and radiology of our country, and I am truly excited at the opportunity to serve this august body as the President.

Our website serves as a valuable resource for members of the dental and medical fraternity, oral medicine specialists, oral and maxillofacial radiologists, and patients alike. I invite you to explore our website and go through the upcoming scientific activities, patient care resources, the latest news on IAOMR, and a range of information related to the specialty of oral medicine and radiology, which can be accessed through this platform.
We are at a pivotal moment in the field of oral medicine and radiology, facing both challenges and opportunities that demand the collective expertise and innovation of IAOMR members. As we move forward, IAOMR shall focus on fostering collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity. Together, we will explore innovative approaches to education, research, and clinical practice.
I am looking forward to IAOMR collaborating with universities across the country to develop value added courses for the budding oral medicine and radiology specialists, for which I request the help and support of members who are at the helm of affairs related to university-level administration.
Through this message on our website, I wish to seek support from visitors and IAOMR members, who can coordinate with government/national bodies and incorporate oral medicine and radiology personnel into their decision-making processes (related to our subject), so that informed decisions can be taken by the government/national bodies with the knowledge, facts, data, and a comprehensive understanding of the subject, which the oral medicine and radiology specialist will have, for achieving good and positive outcomes.
Along the same lines, I am also looking forward to support from members who are key opinion leaders (KOLs) and similar personnel of radiology equipment manufacturers to improve the coordination between radiology equipment manufacturers and the Academy. I encourage open communication and invite you to share your proposals and feedback as we shape our goals together. I look forward to collaborating with each of you as we work to elevate our profession and enhance patient care.

This academy is the single largest body of Oral Medicine, and Oral and Maxillofacial lmageology specialists in the entire world. As the number of members increase, the expectations too increase from the academy. In order to achieve these expectations, I request the fullest co-operation of all IAOMR members to take the academy forward.

I believe the academy is a reflection of the research and developments in the fields of Oral Medicine, Oral Diagnosis, Oral and Maxillofacial Imaging, and Forensic Odontology in India. We as a team should work together and achieve greater heights in the field of Oral Medicine, Oral and Maxillofacia l lmageology, Forensic Odontology and the other allied sciences.
